As our mobile app EnforceCam facilitates the submission of traffic offense reports by Civilian Enforcers and the collection of fines by relevant authorities, our refund policy applies specifically to payments processed through the app, including fines, penalties, and other related charges.
Fines paid through our mobile app EnforceCam for validated traffic offenses are non-refundable. Once a fine is paid and processed, the following entities receive their allocated share:
Due to the nature of these payments, refunds are not available after successful payment, except in cases of error or appeal as described below.
In cases where a technical issue or payment error occurs (e.g., duplicate charges or incorrect amounts being processed), NexusNova Technologies will work with the payment gateway (Flutterwave) to investigate and resolve the issue. If a legitimate error is identified, NexusNova Technologies through EnforceCam will refund the affected amount. Please allow up to 5-10 business days for refunds to be processed and credited back to the original payment method.
If after the payment of fines, a traffic offender wishes to dispute a fine or submit an appeal, they must follow the government authority's official appeal process sent to the offender via email or SMS. If the appeal is successful and the fine is overturned, a refund may be issued by the relevant authority. In such cases, NexusNova Technologies will facilitate the refund through the app’s payment gateway, ensuring that the correct portion of the fine is returned to the payer. Note that NexusNova Technologies is not responsible for determining the outcome of appeals but will assist in ensuring refunds are processed where necessary.
In certain circumstances, government authorities may decide to initiate a refund for a paid fine (e.g., in the case of a mistake or policy change). If such a decision is made, NexusNova Technologies will coordinate with the authorities and Flutterwave to ensure that the refund is processed promptly and returned to the original payment method.
